For years we have been crafting beds that perfectly demonstrate our ethos. We combine innovative technology with natural, home-grown fillings wherever possible. We were already proud of our work, but when it was recognised by HM Queen Elizabeth II, we were delighted. 
In 2019 Harrison Spinks was proudly awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. This was the fifth time the company received a Queen’s Award, having previously received two Queen’s Awards for  Enterprise in Innovation and International Trade in 2018 and two for Enterprise in Innovation and Sustainable Development in 2013. 
Thus cementing our resolve to continue to produce beautiful, sustainable comfort in every bed.

Harrison Spinks is a fifth-generation family owned and run business dating back to 1840 and is one of Great Britain’s most established and innovative bed makers. It is the most vertically integrated bed manufacturer in the world, from drawing its own wire and manufacturing patented pocket springs, to weaving ChemFRee fabric for its mattresses and growing natural fillings on its own 300-acre farm in Yorkshire.

In 2018 Harrison Spinks was proudly awarded two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Innovation and International Trade. This was the second time the company received two Queens Awards in one year, having previously received the Enterprise in sustainable Development and Innovation awards in 2013. 

Harrison is part of the Harrison Spinks family of companies and in addition to luxury handmade beds and mattresses, it is a supplier of quality components to the bed, furniture, footwear and automotive industries through its Components Division.
